Feisty!

*I was afraid of putting my scar on there, but then my mom said something great. She said be proud of that scar... because it saved your life! And now it is giving your son life! So there it is folks, in all it's glory. My scar!

So, in the past few months, with this baby in my tummy, I have determined that this child is a little more like his Momma than his Daddy.

When his Daddy was born he was "angelic," according to everyone I have spoken with. He would sit where they would ask, he would never put up a fight for diapers or a change of clothes. Overall, he was the perfect child. Gorgeously blonde with peircing blue eyes. Polo shirts and a perfect bowl haircut, he just couldnt' get any cuter.

Then there was me. Let's see. My first nickname was Lungs (if that gives you any indication) and trust me, when I say, I lived up to that name! I came out of the womb singing and dancing. All 7lbs (2lbs of curly hair!) There is this story that I HATED the playpen, and sometimes my mom would try and stick me in there, if she had to vacuum or cook or something. I would just wail and wail, until my poor mom would pick me up, and I would give her this grin like... now... that's better! Let's not do that again, or I'll scream :D

So, as I grow older and people get nicer with words, my nickname has become... feisty!

feist·y /ˈfaɪsti/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[fahy-stee] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective, feist·i·er, feist·i·est.

1. full of animation, energy, or courage; spirited; spunky; plucky: The champion is faced with a feisty challenger.

Well, let me just tell you, my gut instinct is this child is gonna come out feisty!! While in the hospital with the crazy labor pains, he would kick the heart monitor off my belly. (He apparently likes his space!) Then, if I sit in the wrong way, my little man will stick his foot in my rib until I move my position. But... as soon as I move, he takes it away. I can just see him smiling in the womb saying... now... that's better! And dont' get me started if I eat something he doesn't like, such as Pomegranits and spicy food. OH BOY! He will beat the living daylights out of my stomach and let me know not to do that again!

I have a feeling he may be coming early (at least early enought to be an Aries) and if that is so, he could certianly live up to his sign!

Poor hubs. The angelic child he thought he was having a fellow Taurus where he could share gourmet food and be stubborn, I have a feeling... maybe not so much.

But does it matter really? I will love him all the same. Feisty like his Momma or not :D
