I'm too depressed to write a post...

I feel ya buddy!!

All I am going to say is... Eli the other team wears GREEN, get it? That's not who you play for!

Brandon... oh Brandon, you beast of a man... you tried your hardest, and we still love you! Ahmad, you tried too, *insert slap on butt here*, run like the wind buddy!

Plaxico... I hate you. Go away! How in the hell do you, as a proffesional athlete, accidentally shoot yourself in the thigh. You deserve whatever's comin' your way!

Osi... you looked damn fine in your suit, but you would have looked better suited UP and on the field sacking McNabb.

*Insert sad pouty face* Waaahhhhaaa!!!

Some fun in the snow!

Well not really, since it doesn't snow down herah, but... this week should be one fun week!

Of course there is the obvious... Christmas... WOOT! And Christmas Eve, which is a big night of presents in hubs family.

But other than that... today we are finishing our shopping, raking leaves and finishing cleaning our house. Plus it is supposed to be 75 degrees outside. Score! Unfortunately, I woke up and lost my voice. Which is utterly bizarre because it was fine last night... just a tickle. Weird?

Then Sunday a frigid cold front is supposed to come, so we should wake up to about 20 degrees and windy. Brrrrr! However, my G-Men play Carolina and they better win! Otherwise, I have no problem flying to NY and spanking each and every one of them with a wooden spoon. Hee hee! Serioulsy though, what the heck happen to them? First they lost to the crap-tastic Eagles (sorry Rachel ;-) then the freakin Cowboys, and I swear if they lose to the Panthers, I am going to cry.

Monday is a day with the ladies. Hubs family (all the women) are having a brunch in the morning and then I get to have my hair done in the afternoon. Aaaahhh, what a relaxing day.

Then finally Tuesday I am headed to the mall with B so he can Santa (again!) And hubs aunts, grandmother, and Mom can get to get some pictures. It should be fun. Lunch with the ladies :)

I hope you all have a fabulous week!

Today...

My brain is jumbled. I have a splitting headache and I think I am still in detox from my cheese coma.

Here are some things:

  • The Giants play the Cowboys this weekend and I am desperately (especially after last Sunday's debacle) hoping for a repeat of their last game.

  • I am having lunch with a great friend tomorrow for Christmas. So fun!

  • Everyone seemed to love our Christmas cards, which always makes me happy!

  • I have to go to the grocery store, horribly bad. I mean, we have no eggs, cream, bread or anything. Not to mention it is like 2o degrees outside (colder than NY I might add) and I hate dragging Mr Man out in this crazy weather.

  • This headache will not go away... damn you headache.

And to top it off, here are the rest of the pictures from NY. We had such a fun time and miss everyone already!

Can I get a Hell Yeah!!

(A sneak peek! )

Well, this morning, bright and early, we headed to get our family photos taken.

I think they turned out A-DOR-ABLE!

Mr Man could not have been cuter! He was smiling and flirting with the photographer.

My mom bought the perfect outfit and Matt and I coordinated to the little one. Overall it was a fun day with lots of smiles and lots of pictures.

Then... I came home to the TiVo'd Giants game and they won... 30 to 10. HELL YEAH!

This day just couldn't get any better.

I am exhausted from the weekends activites but it was well worth it!

Are you Ready for some Football?!?

Bring it on Cowgirls Cowboys! Last year I had to endure smack-talking from every passerby on the street. But, this year my friends, we have a different story.

The injury ridden Cowboys don't stand a chance to my fantastical G-Men!

I have a feeling it is going to be a blowout, but for smack-talking sake, I hope it's a close game and Eli, Plaxico, Brandon and the boys pull it out in the end.

Hell Yes!

So a couple of weeks ago, Hubs surprised me with a chance to win a night with the running backs of the NY Giants football club.

I about fell over when I heard this amazing news, and prayed to God we would win the auction.

I called everyone in NY to brace them, should B and I just be happening to stop by :)

Then... the Giants lost to the craptastic Browns and THEN the evening was cancelled. Just. Like. That.

I was so heartbroken. I was sure Tom Coughlin was pissed about them loosing and determined he must have told the players they were unable to attend.

Anyhoo, Hubs had already booked tickets (since we were well in the lead of the bidding) and when they cancelled we had to re-arrange a bunch of crap to not get charged.

So... he proceeded to write the company a letter stating how dissapointed I was and blah blah blah.

They replied with an email stating, there wasn't anything they could do about the evening, but they would be happy to send us something because we were such good customers.

Hubs thought I would get something baseball or basketball (none of which I am too interested in) and we forgot about it.

Until today...

The doorbell rang, and outside my door was a huge box.

I came inside, opened the package and VOILA...

An amazing, SIGNED picture of Brandon Jacobs (the current NY Giant runningback) giving a redskin the stiff arm, framed (similar to the one above).

I was litterally jumping off the walls. This is the most amazing addition to my collection.

Thanks Hubs for being such an amazing man who loves (and appreciates) my NY Giant obsession!

Crap-Tastic!

Last night the Giants lost to the craptastic Browns. I mean, really Eli, how many freakin interceptions can you throw in a game. Just when we look good and go against a 1-3 team (2 and 3 now) do we fall apart. BLUGH!

I have to get more blood drawn for more freaking tests today and I have to get an EKG. Is there anything else my docs would like to throw at me? I may look like a human pin cushion but I have feelings too :( Stop poking at me.. boo!

My grandmother tore some ligiments in her ankle and I am thinking about going up there. She is in an apartment in NY where there are only stairs, so I am worried she is being held hostage in her own apartment. It would be a lot with the baby (and no hubs) but sometimes Moms have to be SuperMoms! I can do it! Plus I would get to see all my family and they would finally get to meet B.

Anything craptastic about your day?

The BEST anniversary present... from God!

Or the NFL??

The GIANTS play the Redskins, Sept 4th (our 4 year anniversary) and apparently the NFL looked up my anniversary and said, happy anniversary YOU, here is the start of the NFL season AND we're gonna have the Giants play! Well, thank you Mr Roger Goodell, I appreciate the anniversary gift, and you bet you little booty I will be watching.

Thanks again NFL.

Bad News :(

So, I was in a funk all day (hence the previous post) and then the doc called. Apparently I have been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and to top it off she tells me I am anemic.

Now, I have to go to a lab so they can make me drink more nasty sugar drink while I sit there for 3 hours as they take my blood. Normally, this test would tell me if I have this disease, but because I failed the original test so miserably, this test is just going to tell me to what degree I have it. Blah!

So all day I have been pretty down about not going out to lunch and the doctor news and THEN... I get this AWESOME package from my Uncle R. First let me tell you, that I took a shower (about 5pm) hubs goes out to get the mail, I put on my Giants pants and my Giants shirt, and head to the kitchen. Hubs sees this pakage and opens it... what was in it???

This AWESOME Giants key chain!!! It was such a nice ending to a shitty day! Love you Uncle R!!!

Pack Your Bags!!

We are headed to Green Bay! Yippeee!

The Giants beat the Cowboys 21-17 yesterday and FINALLY I have some bragging rights. This whole season I have sat there with a sad smile as all my friends, down here in Texas, have harrassed me about the Cowboys winning the 2 reg. season games, and now... finally! My G-Men came through and we are about to take on Brett Favre! Woo Woo!!

--------------------------------------

Since I am on a Texas kick. Since moving here from the Northeast, there are a lot of things a girl has to get used to, and yesterday was just one of those days. #8 Why I am not too fond of Texas - yesterday all I was craving was a bagel. Like a good ole fashioned NY bagel. The cats had no food so hubs decided he would head to the store and pick me up an onion bagel at the grocery store...

Well, he comes home, I cut the bagel, throw it in the toaster and proceed to cook my egg. While I am cooking, however, I smell something weird. Like peppers and onions?? It was weird. I thought it was just my physcho smell, so I proceed. As I take my semi toasted bagel out of the toaster and place my egg on top, I realize the bagel looks a little strange. Then, I take my first bite. It is a freakin JALLEPENO bagel. Now who, in their right mind, would create a jallepeno bagel?? I really get that we embrace the mexican culture down here, but come on!!! I tell hubs, he said they only had that one, blueberry or something else. He smelled it and thought it was onion. UGH! Just an FYI for all of you chowing down on some delish bagels... don't take them for granted. A good bagel is fantastic start to a beautiful morning! A jallepeno bagel on the other hand... I wouldn't reccomend :)

3 Things Today (and a damn good laugh!)

1. I am 18 weeks pregnant!!! Considering what happened last time, I never thought I would get to this point! Seriously, I wake up every morning checking to make sure my beautiful baby is still with me, and of course, the 6lb bump is still there, growing every day.
This week from head to bottom, your baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and she weighs almost 7 ounces. She's busy flexing her arms and legs — movements that you'll likely start noticing more and more. Her blood vessels are visible through her thin skin and her ears are now in position and stand out from her head. Myelin (a protective covering) is beginning to form around her nerves, a process that will continue for a year after she's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and Fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If your baby is a boy, his genitals are noticeable, though he may hide them from you during an ultrasound

2. I will be the first to tell you, the G-Men officially suck! I am appaled at Eli's perfomance yesterday, not to mention Shockey, Burress and the rest of 'em. I was so ticked I was actually rooting for the Eagles last night JUST so someone could finally beat the damn pats. Brady... you make me sick. Love the name! Not a fan of the person! Not to mention that puts the damn cowgirls in an even better spot, because the Giants failed misserably, the Redskins lost AND the Eagles lost. I think the dang cowgirls already sealed up the playoffs. :p (that is me with my tongue out in disgust!)

3. I would also like to say, you advertisers.... you know that more than MEN watch Football. I understand I am somewhat of an an anomaly - in terms that I actually love football, would watch it over any other sport, know most of the players and really care about the stats. Yes I know, I am very weird! Here is the thing though, I don't care about freaking cars, beer, fast food or most anything else you try to sell during Football games. But I have to say, even though I have Tivo and have the option of fast fowarding... it just isn't the same unless your watching it live. So yesterday I stumbled across this INCREDIBLE commercial. Again, hate the car, but if this doesn't get your attention and make you laugh, you need some more coffee this morning.

The G-Men

Well folks, right now, the G-Men are losing horribly to the Minnesota Vikings. Eli has already thrown 2 picks and we aren't even at half time. Not only is it cold and raining, and I haven't gotten out all day, my dog is feeling just as depressed as I am.

The NY Football Giants...

All I am gonna say is we should have lost that game by the way we played the 2nd half. Frickin Chris Snee (who happens to be FREAKING Tom "turn your head and" Couglin's son-in-law) pretty much lossed the game.
Not only did we run back the ball 84 yards, score a touchdown, only to get some holding call on some other Giant but THEN Chris Snee jumps in and holds just as we score the touchdown for the SECOND time. UGH! Then freaking ELi... can you believe this guy... 3 (yes, that is NOT a misprint) 3 delay of game penalties just to top it off.

PITIFUL! My freaking G-men were pitiful in the second half. Go get 'em boys, you deserved to win!

Let the Trash Talking Begin!!

Tomorrow at 3pm CST the NY Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys

Considering I am in Dallas, but originally from NY, there is a deep rivalry that happens in the fam. Even though both my parents grew up in NY (both originally JETS fans) and we didn't move here until I was 9, they have become traitors and have now begun rooting for the Cowgirls. My husband, a born and bred Texas, has always been lead astray and has always rooted for the Cowgirls.

The trash talking started early this week between my dad and I and it went a little something like this...

Him: It will be a big week for the NFC East leading Boys v the G-Men. Let the trash talking begin.
Andrea, I put Bob in copy so you would have a little support when the ‘Boys take Manning, Plexi and Shockey to the back of the woodshed.

Me: Oh my dear Cowboys rooting friend… oh how you are so wrong!! Considering Mr. Romo was hanging out with none other than Britney Spears this past weekend, I would say the G-Men are on their way to victory!! If that is a not a lapse in judgment who the hell knows what is? He may just need to call Michael Vick to see when he, TO and Tank Johnston could all go out for a little “gang bangin’” Love Ya!!

Day 2 of Trash Talking
Me: Miss u daddy. Did u see my baby is the size of an apple. We need to do dinner sun. So I can watch ur face while the cowgirls get trampled :D

Him: Careful sweetie. You may have to eat sour grapes come Sunday. But I would love to watch it with you. I'll make a nice sausage and ham chili. LOL.

Just to give you the back story... my dad and I are so similar it is frightening sometimes. We have so much fun and we love to cook, but I hate sausage and ham. So everytime he cooks he alwyas seems to throw some pork scraps in there just to make me gag :) Love ya daddy!
