Clueless Cat makes a great point. She wonders why men don't take the reins more often? Why it is always us girls making the phone calls, sending the emails or making plans? I tend to agree with her.
Wouldn't you love to come home and have your man have planned out the whole weekend? Who cares if it screws other things up. The idea and the thought that would go into that would be thrilling!
It came to my attention the other day that men just don't have the same brains. I mean, I have had NUMEROUS converstations with hubs about making the bed. His response: Why would I make a bed, I am just going to get into 12 hours later. My response: Because it is nicer to get into a freshly made bed with crisp sheets, than have to deal with yesterday's mess.
Well, in talking with my BF on the phone the other day, apparently she had the SAME converstaion with her hub. His response: How long does it take to make a bed? 30 - 60 seconds? Ok... in a year, that would mean, I would spend 2,000 minutes making a bed. Ridiculous. What a waste of time!
I think Men's brains must not compute certain things. I truly think that book, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, must have some ring of truth to it. I just don't get why men don't take more control?
Anyone else run into issues like that?

ALL the time. Most things would never get done if I didn't ask him to do them. But then I also feel like I'm nagging if I ask to much!! I can't win.
I don't have a penis and I hate making the bed. Jason was totally the bed maker in my previous relationship.
not sure if this falls under the same thing- but my husband thinks/assumes that EVERY SINGLE dog he's ever seen is a Boy. He'll say "Ohh HE's such a cute dog" even if the dog is wearing a pink sweater and her name is Bella.
Tina makes a great point - half the time (or probably more) we stay silent because we don't want to nag. This applies to my entry as well, although in a different context - the reason I blogged about it instead of wrote the boy about it directly is because I don't want to start whining or come across as nagging him to keep up his half of the communication, or like I said in my post, to get all clingy.
Men. Who knows???
PS. love the title of your post ;)
I happen to be with a guy who does make all the dinner reservations and flight/travel arrangements and so forth - he also cook and helps out around the house - he is a keeper - but trust me - he has his *OTHER* flaws!!
Dude. If men could only do things the way we would life would be easier. LOL- It's amazing how men and women could love each other so much and think so differently! I truly believe we are such different creatures.
