I got a call from the doctor today and it wasn't the call I was hoping for. Unfortunately, it is not Anemia.
When I went to the doctor originally my thyroid levels were elevated and so he ordered a sonogram. We were hoping it was nothing, but unfortunately they found a nodule.
We are not sure what that means, but I have a more in depth test scheduled on the 8th of Oct.
I would ask that you pray it is nothing serious.
And I leave you with my favorite prayer!
St. Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace within.
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be confident knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Oh my word, what a scary and uncertain time. I will pray for peace for you and for strength and patience as you wait to see what the doctors have to say. Hopefully it is something treatable!! In the meantime, snuggle with that baby boy of yours!
Hope it's nothing. <3
My ex had a thiroid nodule and it was fine. Scary but fine. Here's a couple things I know...
More than 95 percent of all thyroid nodules are benign (non-cancerous growths)
Some are actually cysts.
So you are definately in my prayers and I wish you the best of luck that everything is fine. It's so scary to have anything abnormal with yourself...hang in there and please keep us posted.
Hugs,
HM

You are in my prayers!
praying for you, love!!! xoxo
you're in my prayers.
Hey girl,
I just wanted you to know, that I’ll be keeping you in my prayers. I’ve had to have 2 different biopsies (sp.?) in the past. I also had an MRI in high school that showed a mass/shadow. The wait is most definitely the hardest part. Fortunately, everything turned out okay…….. As I know it will for you! Try your best not to stress about it…… but I know that is much easier said than done. Take care of yourself. Prayers are coming your way!
Also, I love that prayer you posted!
