A beautiful start...to a tiring day!

This morning, Mr Man decided to wake up at 6 am, after waking every 3 hours since 8 pm last night. Needless to say, I am pretty darn exhausted! He also decided (while Momma was drinking coffee) that he wanted to go down for a nap. So... Mr Man is peacefully sleeping while Momma is wide awake, STILL trying to find a job.

I am so utterly heartbroken about the job search. I don't want to leave my little man with a daycare or a babysitter, but I can't seem to find anything that fits my schedule. Waiting tables is an option, but the money is not guaranteed, not to mention I won't ever see hubs. I also have 2 other options, but we are still waiting to see how they pan out. I think, unfortunately, it is inevitable that Mr Man will have to stay somewhere for at least an hour or two. I can't sleep or eat with guilt that I won't be the only woman in his life. Someone else will have to change his diaper and kiss his belly, and it is just tearing me up inside. I never knew the love you felt could envelope you whole being and make you this sick with worry over having someone babysit for an hour or two.

On a different note, Monday I sent an email to the woman that took my cat. I was so worried about him and I was just hoping we was adapting well.

This is what I got:

Me: I wanted to check on Basil to see how he was doing. Has he come out from under a bed yet? I was very sad to see him go, but I am glad he went to a good family.

Nice Lady: Basil is doing great. He came out since the first day. I have given him several baths (ok weird... normally cats don't get baths...but hey, I'll take it!!) and he seems to enjoy it. he is just adorable. My husband also said that he is beautiful. thank you for this great pet.

As stressful as these days are lately, that was a beautiful start to an already exhausting day! Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

aww you are having to make some tough decisions lately, first the kitty and now the baby :( but think of it this way, the kitty/new home thing worked out okay and so can putting the little guy in daycare

Oh I'm so glad he is happy there. And they seem to be taking great care of him. Who knows, maybe you can drop in for a visit or two. As for finding a job and having someone babysit B, it does get easier having a babysitter as they get older but it still completley sucks! My son goes to his dad every other week and I'm ok with that but man when I have to give up any moment I have with him I hate it!
